Eclipse BIRT Report Engine and Java API
Eclipse BIRT Report Engine and its APIs offer report execution, generation and viewing services for reports created by the BIRT Designers. Eclipse BIRT Report Engine and APIs can be implemented as a component in a Web Application Server or deployed in an application.
Actuate Java Components
Actuate offers components that bundle the Eclipse BIRT Engine and its APIs into a package with additional end-user experience features. These include BIRT Viewer, BIRT Interactive Viewer and BIRT Studio.
BIRT Deployment Kit
BIRT Deployment Kit is a lightweight J2EE report repository with a web front-end for users to browse, select, and run BIRT reports on demand. It embeds the Eclipse BIRT Engine and its APIs. It can be implemented stand alone as an End User Reporting Portal or embedded in an application.
BIRT iServer Express
BIRT iServer Express is a report server that deploys, manages, schedules, secures, runs and distributes BIRT reports. It embeds the Eclipse BIRT Engine and Java APIs.
