BIRT Studio is a web-based report development tool for business users to create BIRT – based business intelligence reports using the reusable report components created by any of BIRT Designer software. It is an AJAX-based business intelligence tool accessed from a web browser with no client software to install for end users to create charts and graphs; add, rearrange, reformat, show and hide data; and change report, row, column and cell formatting to create their own BIRT report.

Report Formatting: Users can reformat the elements and components of BIRT Reports with point-and-click operations.

Charting Wizard: A wizard allows users to choose from a variety of chart types, select their data, and format the chart.

Sorting: Users can sort data by a single column or multiple columns in order to meet their analysis needs.

Filtering: Several filtering options are available, including filters on multiple conditions and Top/Bottom N filters.

Conditional Formatting: Column properties including fonts, backgrounds and accents can be changed based on data condition.
