Common Designer Screenshots

There are five BIRT Designers that all share a common set of features. The features apply to both the Eclipse BIRT Report Designers and BIRT Designers. Reports developed with any one of the designers can be modified with the other designers.

Visual Design : The Designers use familiar development paradigms of the Eclipse environment, Web-page designers, and desktop publishing products.

Property Editor : Provides centralized access to commonly modified attributes of each report element, including visual properties.

Scripting : The default data access, data transformation and report layout behavior can be modified via flexible scripting.

Dynamic Cross Tabs : Cross tab elements can be added to reports without knowing the number of columns ahead of time.
