BIRT Analytics Demos
This new, in-memory online analytical processing (OLAP) analytics product line is the result of enhancements to the core BIRT engine, which supports the entire spectrum of rich data visualizations, interactivity and analysis. The BIRT technology architecture provides multiple ways to embed and contextually deliver information to users to address their analytics needs while promoting efficiency and productivity through reuse.
BIRT analytics are implemented as a viewing service of the BIRT iServer. For BIRT ISV’s and SaaS vendors wishing to include BIRT analytics in their product, they can be embedded as a component or with the BIRT Deployment Kit.

The Actuate BIRT Data Analyzer is a web-based analysis tool that allows users to explore pre-aggregated data in a simple drag-n-drop pivot table interface. BIRT Data Analyzer sits atop a BIRT Data Object, the in-memory analysis cube, which allows users to change and pivot data dimensions, as well as drill up and down data hierarchies with blazing speed.

With Actuate BIRTs rich Excel Export functionality, you can accommodate both web users and Excel users with the same report content, reducing development and increasing application success. Actuate BIRT content allows users to export web reports directly to Excel spreadsheet workbooks, retaining all the formatting, data aware charts and built in formulas that the Excel user requires.
