BIRT-ing Out Loud

I was approved to talk at the WJAX developer conference in Munich Germany this week.  For those of you attending this conference, I’ll be teaching the session titled Advanced BIRT Report Customization on Wednesday, November 6th, at 830am.  This session will focus on BIRT report scripting, report reuse with libraries and templates, and internationalization of report content.  For those of you not attending the conference I’ll post the slides and examples on BIRT Exchange as soon as the conference is over.

This Friday, August 20th, Jason Weathersby from Actuate will be showing how to use the BIRT Charting APIs.  This webinar is part of the BIRT Exchange webinar series which are developer oriented and only 30 minutes in length every other week.

The second annual BIRT Live Day is taking place at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas on August 6. The focus of BIRT Live is to provide BIRT developers with a mini-conference where they can attend technical sessions focused on BIRT development and deployment while networking with BIRT experts and other BIRT users.

This year BIRT Live will provide two concurrent tracks of technical sessions and two workshops given by BIRT experts. BIRT Live Day is actually a “conference within a conference” - it happens on the third day of the Actuate International User Conference.
