Integrates Google Maps within a BIRT Report v2.2

This report design demonstrates the use of Google Maps within a BIRT report. It displays customer information from the Classic Models sample data bundled with the BIRT distribution in a table. Clicking on a row in this table causes a map to be displayed. A marker is created corresponding to the city in the row on which the user clicks.

In order to use this report, please obtain a Google Maps API Key. Then place this key in the Header Code Item at the top of the report. This report was tested in Internet Explorer v6. To generate the Google Maps API Key you will need to specify a URL. For this report, use http://127.0.0.1:64644. In the BIRT designer preferences select the Report Design -> Preview -> Preview Server item. Set the Host name or IP to 127.0.0.1. Also set the Port to 64644. This report can not be exported.

When you run the report, click on any row in the Customer Data table. That will display the Google map and create a marker for the city in which the customer is located.

Please refer to Google Maps API for documentation on utilizing their API.

Hi!


When I select {TOC} in report, google map disapears.

do the export options work? is google map exported?
if they don´t work... how is the way to make work? Any idea?
