Lessons learned from several months use of BIRT

A link to a blog entry by Mark Lorenz describing lessons he's learned from using BIRT for several months. It includes tips about logging, formatting dates, the BIRT thread model, footers on master pages, use of relative paths in the Firefox browser and conditional coloring on charts.

Written in February 2006 for version 2.0 of BIRT.
