BIRT Deployment Kit

The Deployment Kit is a lightweight JAVA EE report repository with a web front-end for users to browse, select, and run BIRT and Spreadsheet reports on demand.

Features: Flexible Deployment Options

The Deployment Kit can be deployed as a stand-alone report generator or embedded within another portal or application. In either option, content can be published through URLs or JSR-168 portlets.

• Stand-alone Deployment - can be implemented stand-alone using the included Tomcat application server for serving up the web pages.
• Embedded Java Deployment - can be embedded in another application server such as WebSphere or WebLogic.
