Documentation

The examples in SIT illustrate APIs described in the following manuals available on the Documentation page:

  • "BIRT Deployment" → "iServer Express Report Server" →
    • "Creating Custom Web Applications using Actuate iServer Express"
    • "Programming with Actuate iServer APIs"
  • "Additional Documentation" → "Actuate Glossary"

These documents are also available with your iServer Express install at http://localhost:8900/iportal/help/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm. (Change "localhost" to the name of your iServer Express machine if it is not on the same machine as your browser.)

Each example will make much more sense after you read the documentation sections about the API before trying the example.

Additional Help

Post questions or comments about SIT in the iServer Express forums. (The forum name is a bit misleading, but it is the iServer Express forum, really.)
