Finding the your Eclipse BIRT Version Number
- Using the Eclipse top menu, choose Help → About Eclipse Platform.
- In the dialog that appears, choose Plug-in Details.
- The "About Eclipse Platform Plug-ins" dialog appears. Click on the "Plug-in Name" column to sort by name.
- Scroll down to find the BIRT plugins; there will be several.
- Locate the "BIRT Designer Core" plugin.
- You will see a version number of the form "2.2.2.r222_v20071226". The BIRT version are the first three numbers. In this case "2.2.2".
Finding your iServer Express Version Number
- Log into iPortal for iServer Express as described in Log into iServer Express using iPortal.
- Click on the Options link in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Click on the About tab.
- Locate the line with the label Actuate iServer version.
- The version number is on this line, and is something like, "9 Service Pack 3 Fix 3 (Build 90F080320)".
